New Market Segments

In the past the matchday programme was only available to fans who attend games, or at some clubs, those who subscribe to programmes on mail order.  Now, fans can access each programme no matter where they are in the world or whether they will be attending the game.  Online matchday programmes open up new markets previously not attainable, such as fans too far away to travel to games regularly, or the ex-pat communities in foreign countries.

Last minute, up-to-date information

In addition, the printed matchday programmes often go to press prior to pre-match training and as a result don’t include details of injuries and squad updates.  The online programme can be delivered in much shorter timescales and the artwork can be received as late as a Friday afternoon before Saturday’s game.  This way clubs can include the latest up-to-date information, which adds considerable value to the programme over its printed version.  In addition, clubs can add ‘live’ news to the viewer using a ticker feed which is displayed on all online programmes.

Matchday Build-up

The online programme allows the matchday build-up to start early.  A ‘first edition’ of the programme can be made available online from Friday evening (for Saturday games) allowing fans to read about the match from the comfort of their home or maybe even in the pub with fellow fans.

Advertising revenue streams

Advertising is a major revenue stream for most clubs.  The programme offers another advertising opportunity for both the club itself and advertising partners.  For example, the club can advertise offers available in the shop, upgrades to hospitality or priority seating or cross-sell tickets to upcoming matches and events.    The online programme offers additional advertising space which can be up-sold to existing advertisers or can be offered to new ‘online’ advertisers through the ability to provide linking opportunities.

Pricing

Our pricing is very much dependant on the solution that you require, but starts from £400 per issue* for unlimited subscriptions.  We price based on a minimum of issues per season, as we understand that you cannot pinpoint the exact amount that you require at the start of a season.
